2026 Sino-US Chief Data Officer Summit
Welcome to the 2026 Sino–US Chief Data Officer Summit — the 1st and Premier Gathering for Data Leadership in Asia!
At present, data and artificial intelligence are reshaping the global landscape at an unprecedented pace. On August 26, 2025, the State Council released the Opinions on Deepening the Implementation of the “AI+” Initiative, outlining a clear blueprint for China’s AI development over the next decade.
Amid this profound “AI+” transformation, Chief Data Officers (CDOs) bear significant responsibilities. They are not only architects of data strategy and leaders of data governance, but also core drivers and practitioners of the market-oriented development of data elements. CDOs are committed to activating data resources, promoting efficient data circulation, and unlocking deep data value.
Purpose of the Summit
This event aims to respond to national strategies by focusing on data elements and bringing together CDO wisdom from government, industry, academia, research, finance, and application sectors across the Greater Bay Area.
The summit seeks to strengthen international collaboration, explore innovative development paths and governance balance in the AI era, share best practices, and contribute Chinese insights toward the coordinated development of technology, industry, and governance.
Sincerely,
Dr. Richard Wang, Co-Chair of the 2026 Sino-US Chief Data Officer Summit, Executive Director of the CDOIQ Program
James Wang, Co-Chair of the 2026 Sino-US Chief Data Officer Summit, Senior Fellow of the CDOIQ Program
